Behind the Lines: Portraying the Faces and Stories of the Second World War, November 1 to November 30, 2008 This series of portraits captures the spirit of some of the men and women who served Canada in WWII. The front lines of the war effort, the lines drawn by the artist, and the lines of age . . . all are brought together in this portrayal of the experience of war. This exhibition at the Cumberland Gallery in November 2008 gave visitors the chance learn about the contributions of the veterans who live in their community.
